I cancelled two tickets under one PNR on 11th Jan. I got the refund after 7 days and that too 325 Rs. less than what was told to me while cancelling the ticket. When I contacted them, I was told that you have applied the promotion code at the time of booking that’s why system has deducted 325 Rs more.
But I told them many times that I have not got any cashbacks after my booking and that promo code was for flat discount only, then why have you deducted 325 Rs more. But again same reply. They don’t have any transperency in their processes. Customer care representatives don’t have any answer on the issue.
Now I am following up with goibibo regularly but they don’t care to listen me or resolve the issue. It has not been mentioned on website anywhere that if we use promo code then more amount will be deducted.
It has never happened with me while booking/cancel with makemytrip. They are so transperent in their processes. I used to do many bookings with goibibo, but my first cancellation experience with goibibo is the worst experience. I will advise my friends to not to book with this website ever.
