Hi All,
The name "Golden Temple"it's quite familiar across the globe, is also know as Sri. Harmandir Sahib. It is one of most important religious place for Sikhism. Rather than Sikh devotees everyone should visit the Golden Temple at least once in a life time.
Recently I had visited the temple on the last Sep'18, and we have started the trip from Delhi on golden temple mail. More than as a tourist place we can learn a lot from here. Actually the temple is built around an artificial pool and it contains a lots of fish. One of the Sikh guru ( I don't know the name exactly) built the golden temple in the 16th century. Still when ever we go there the tune of gurbabi songs ( Punjabi devotional songs) will create a peaceful mind among us.
As a religious place temple having a lots of shrines including Sikh guru's. If we want to take pictures, we can no one deny, but one thing should keep in mind don't shoot inside the temple. May be you don't have believe but at least we should respect them.
As part of culture and tradition we will get food from the golden temple premises and it's quite free. Apart from this one of the best Punjabi dhaba named as "kesar da dabha"is located within the walk-in distance and this dabha have a tradition of more than 100 years.
The prayers are always sounds the all corners of golden temple and that is the base of Sikhism. Apart from golden temple we can visit some other place so near to the temple like Durgiana Temple, Akal Takht, Partition Museums etc.
With the support of Punjab police Golden Temple authorities are providing tight security within the premises therefore no one need to worry about security issues and we will get enough best accomadation facilities so near to the temple especially if any one want to visit on package tour they will arrange all the facilities without complications.
As per my experience at least one in a life time everyone should visit Golden Temple.
