Harmandir sahib that is also known as Golden temple, Amritsar is one the best place where every person should go for atleast one in his life. I go every year on Vaisakhi festival. The holy spirit comes to you just before the entry gate, where you see the discipline, when people give their shoes to the’sevadars’ by standing in the queue, not due to they are forced but because of their own wish.
When you enter into it and step down the stairs, you see the bright gold temple just in the middle of water pond. After that you take a round of it and drink the holy water that makes you feel at the top of everything.
Each and everything in the temple is of gold or say golden color. In the middle, you see the’Gurugranth Sahib’: the guru vachan.
The most interesting thing is that the people out there who are giving their’seva’, are the general people, not of the temple trust.
One thing that every person does, and that is, Sit at the corner of the pond and see the Golden temple and its image into the water, & also listening the shabad. It is just amazing of seeing the image of it into the water, which relaxes your soul and eyes too. Watching the gold fishes in the pond is quite interesting.
One thing that surprises is, Langer, which is open for general people for 24*7. The arrangement of the food is done by the temple trust. The quality and taste of the food can’t be described in word, because it is very tasty.

Security issues: This place is very secured at any point of view that every person can enjoy local places, care freely.

1.Jaliya wala bagh is just near to the golden temple, which is also a memorial place.
Market: just outside, there is very good market, where most of the things are very cheap.
Wagha Border: Wagha border is near to this place, and convenience is easily available to this place.
Hotels: There are many hotels available including 2 star to 4 star near it.
So, visit this place. You will definitely go to that place again.
