Actually to even think for more than a second about the question would be basically wasting precious moments of your life. They are both boring and not too fun in their own way. Yet, I still believe that Golf is a bit fun if you know the rules and know how to swing a golf club correctly.
The Game
The game is played on different 18 hole courses, in which there are different variations of courses around the world. Some have lakes intervening, some have steep hills, cliffs ..... mother nature plays a part in each course.
The object of the game is to hit a small white golf ball down a field that ranges from 100 yards to 500 yards on different pars. A par is the amount of shots you have to get a ball in.
The game is played in integers and you start off at 0
If the hole is a par 5, and you get it in the hole in 4 shots then, you have a score of -1 for that hole. And you subtract -1 from your score. This is called a birdie, whereas 2 shots under is an eagle, on par, a bogey is one shot above, two shots above is a double bogey.
There are different clubs that are used for different lengths. Drivers are for long first shots, irons are for medium shots, wedges for less than 70 yard shots, and putters for short foot shots.

There is nothing much else to golf besides that. There are different tours such as the PGA Tours that top players from around the world compete on. The best right now being Tiger Woods.
