I will never think twice _ I will say I want be happy and that is all this movie is about.
Like it is said “Sometimes just a smile on our face can help to make this world a better place”’. So I recommend each of you friends to view the movie whenever u feel left down in life. A true masterpiece movie _ with full laughter and fun. I have seen this movie humpty no. of times _ still don’t get bored.
And the credit goes to the Cable TV Channels _ who shows this movie whenever they get bored…..Ahahaahahaahahaaaa.
The Story
It all about the way education brings up a human being _ simple but trues that You will never let u down to make a living.
The Story rotates around Ramprasad Sharma who is a graduate _ who’s got a sister . And like all Indians is in look out for a decent job. There comes the uncle who is ready to help him _ he promises a job in a company that is run by an Old-fashioned man Bhavani Shankar. The Old man _ hates younger flamboyant generation and luvs traditionally Indian Views, like the one MARD HAI THO MUCHI CHAHIYA. And he is helped by his good friend Deven, who helps him with the Netaji _ Seeda Sada looks . U will not miss the talent and ease with which Ramprasad handles the role.
The Pandora box opens when the Bhavani Shankar sees in a football match. Ram convinces Bhavani its not him but his Judwa Bhai _ Lakshman, who doesn’t have a moustache. Further he lands in trouble when he asks his brother to teach his daughter Urmila music.
Then all is fun and fun only _ with the change of Ram to Lakshman and on and onnnn.
The best scene in the movie Good Old lady Deena climbing the RASOI Window. There are some such scenes that make u laugh even when u thinks after watching the whole movie.
And Utpal Dutt is such a talented and tamed actor the whole film is filled with his marvellous acting.
THE STARDOM
The stardom includes the Born to earth actor like Amol Palekar as Ramprasad/Laxmanprasad Sharma, and a funky dramatic actor Utpal Dutt as Bhavani Shankar.
Binidiya Goswami performs the role of Urmila. The support roles are done by Shubha Khote, Deven Verma, Om Prakash, Keshto Mukherjee, Yunus Parvez, David. And a never forgettable performance by Deena Pathak.
Even there is some touch by the Mega Stars like Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha in short appearance.
The story is told by the Magical Man Hrishikesh Mukherjee! The movie is so wells told that u don’t feel it’s not a movie but a real incident.
Released in 1979, Golmaal was jointly produced by N.C.Sippy and Hrishikesh Mukherjee himself.
The other thing _ Big Plus Point is the music by the deadly pair _ Lyrics by Gulzar and the Music by R.D.Burman.
The songs are all Major hits of all time which include Aanewala Pal Jaanewala hain. The songs sung by Kishore are all time best him generations.
