Sab Golmaal hai!

Cast

Ajay Degan, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kappor, Sharman Joshi, Rimmi Sen, Praesh Rawal etc Direction: Rohit shetty

The film revolves around the life of four college friends, Gopal (Ajay Devgan), Lucky (Tusshar Kapoor), Mahadev (Arshad Warsi) and Laxmi (Sharman Joshi). Of these the first three alumnus (is should I say dropouts) of the college where Laxmi is studying now!

The first 1 hour revolves around the activities of these 4 in the college, troubling everyone in the college from students to dean… This part is similar to what happened in the movie ‘Style’. Some hackneyed plots and couple of them new, but all of them will make you go bananas!

Then there is a Vasooli bhai, who keeps a framed photo of apna Sanjay Dutt with agarbatti all the time and aspires to be like Sunju bhai. No no, Mr. Dutt is not this movie! He is after these 4 college drop outs all the time for paisa vasooli.

Now comes the twist in the story when, fate takes the quartet to the doorstep (literally) of an old, blind couple (Paresh Raval and Sushmita Mukherjee). They overhear the blind couple that the old couple is waiting for arrival of their grandson, Sameer, from America. So one of them, Laxman (against his wishes) impersonates as their grandson.

Hey how can a bollywood movie be complete without a babe, Rimmi sen is the gal here, who everyone wants to have. But then not much of role for her…

And there is a don who is hard of hearing and has several goofy sidekicks. He keeps of sending one of his goon all the time for some mysterious reasons throughout the movie who ends up getting belittled by the foursome everytime.

The surprise of the movie was Tusshar Kapoor. For him the Golmaal will do what Yuva did for Abhishek. Till now I used to abhor Tusshar, can’t believe that I am actually appreciating his work in my review, but he deserves it, for this movie atleast. Oh I missed it, Tusshar plays a dumb guy in this movie, so just in case you don’t like his dialogue delivery nothing to worry :)

And yes one thing that I desire to own after watching this movie is the 4 seater Harley Davidson bike! All four friends traveling together all the time on a single bike, and Ajay devgan telling to Rimmi sen very courteously “Gaadi par bahoot jagah hai, kahin bhi beth jaayiye”.

Do you know what happens when Vasooli bhai confronts Don, who gets the gal and what was the mysterious thing that goons were looking for, got buddy watch it, you won’t repent, Amit ka promise :)
