Its a copy

Old title: golmaal returns and so do i??

The problem with staying outside india is that you start watching all the hindi movies.. And after some time you start to enjoy even the third grade movies.. In the recent 3-4 months a lot of hindi movies were released.. And most of them were like indian cricket team on paper and performance wise on screen like pakistani cricket team on most of the days.

So when i heard golmaal returns is getting released i was equally apprehensive of the result.. And was presuming this will be another dud packaged like diwali gift… but it turned out to be good..

Now golmaal was always in my list of fav movies.. Both the amol palekar one as well as the new one of ajay, arshad , tushar and sharman joshi..

So on a thursday eve when i had nothing else to do.. I started watching golmaal return..the pirated version courtesy internet . The initial few minutes was the buildup and i felt film will be a washout with nonsensical joke rehash and 15 mins into the movie i realized it has a story.. Though it’s a lift…

Now let me put a big spoiler for all those who think the movie is a orignal re hash of jokes.

No, this is not orignal - it’s a full copy of 1973 movie.. Most won’t have seen that movie as the movie had a very little known hero .. Who we know now as a villan.. Let me give you a hint.. Lotia pathan.. Of tezaab…yes the son of great jeevan.. Yes buddies.. The hero was kiran kumar.

Now let me spoil it further by telling the name of the little known movie.. aaj ki taaja khabar..

in the original -

Kiran kumar gets stuck in a giant ferris wheel with a woman all night due to power failure. He arrives home the next day, and meets a very suspicious wife, she doesn’t believe his story about the stalled ferris wheel, and he invents a story about spending the night with a fictitious friend named champak boomia. His wife never believes that he has a friend by that name, and decides to write to him to come and visit her. Kiran kumar then convinces his friend, asrani to pretend that he is champak, and thus convince his wife that he was indeed telling the truth. Asrani agrees to do so, and then everything goes for a six when the real champak boomia(paintal) turns up.. Result is chaos.. Total nonsensical chaos..

now replace

Champak bhoomia with anthony gonsalves, kiran kumar with ajay devgan, asrani with shreyas talpade ( who is actually filling in for laxman from the first golmaal), throw in a tushaar as a sidekick saala.. And arshad warsi as a confused mixup of madhav and inspector.. Throw in vasooli , aatma ram(vrajesh hirjee) to remind us of first golmaal and a kareena kapoor with a overdose of teleserials and some innuendo and jokes..…. The bhelpuri ready is packaged as – golmaal returns.

Since it’s a bhelpuri.. Its chatpati and so most will like it.. Somewill find it teeki.. Somewill find it awesome..somewill find it tasty.. And it will be a hit.. So go out and enjoy.

Fuljadi dialogues of the movie-

*yeh pehli main nahi tha na .. Reminder to the first golmaal ( or second as first will always be amol palekar one)

Aajkal toh bina ringtone ke phone bhi hit hone lag gaye.

Dekho kaise chipak raha hai.. Isi liye toh har jagah mall he mall ban rahe hain .

Anthony aa gaya hai abh amar, akbar bhi aa jaayenge.. Milke picture dekhnege.

Yeh madhav hai pehle bhi black black khel chukka hai….yahan pe barf kyun nahi pad rahi hai.. Balajeeeee…. Watch it to understand it ;-)

Pehli main heroine le gaya dusri main naukree..teesri main ; rahega hee nahi.. A legpull on gunga tushaar

Fuss bombs..

lara dutta marries brian lara she becomes- lara lara..

The climax.. Straight out of the comic book. I believe in freedom of speech.. But don’t support ms autocratic review editing.
