I dont understand sometimes why sequels are made at all? Can you tell me any sequel which had gained more appreciation than its original? I guess most of you would agree with me on this and the same has happened with this movie as well. Honestly speaking , when I first heard about Golmaal Returns , I expected some good material out of it and if not better , atleast equal to the earlier version , but my expectations were killed the moment I started reading the reviews , still I went to waste my money and here is how it went.
Plot: I simply dont understand what the hell was it? Zaroorat kya thi bhai aisa stupid and silly plot choose karne ki? I swear , this movie was just made for the heck of it. Since it had to be made , a story was fit in. I frankly , hated the plot , its boring , stretchy , senseless, absurd pointless and disappointing.
Actors-*
Ajay Devgan (Gopal) - He looked and acted far much better in the first in this he has just and just been there for the sake. He looks droopy and fake all the times. No points to him for doing this movie. Also, with th upcoming actors , I think its time for him to take a backseat in the industry.
Kareena Kapoor (Ekta)- OMG , the worst performance from this actress ever , even worse than Tashan . I dont know why was she made to do a typical housewife who just doubts on her husband , a role which did not
suit her to the core. She has looked awful being ultra thin. Very disappointing act from her too.
Tushar Kapoor (Lucky)- He has surpassed his previous act by being more expressive than the original , I wish he could speak so as to take the driving seat but unfortunately . He has managed to do justice to his
role. Worth seeing him.
Anjana Sukhani ( Daisy)- She is the only girl who has looked beautiful among the rest three , very young , very pretty and yes , manages to catch attention after Khatron Ke Khiladi. Good initiation from her. But one thing is shown wrong in the movie and that was she is shown to be deaf but at the end when her father says , "Jab miya biwi razi to kya karegi kaazi " or something like that , she knocks her dad as if she
heard him. Good haan, I never knew one can physically get better too with love in his life.
Shreyas Talpade (Laxman Prasad )- Oh , he is good as a comedian and do not need to prove this , but he has looked a typical gunda which makes him unbearable sometimes. Still , not bad. Celina Jaitley (Mira Nair)- Among the whole crowd. She doesn’t even manages to catch attention. I somehow hate her looks , dont think meant to be an actress , no offenses meant to those who like her , but she did not fit the role well.
Arshad Warsi ( ACP Madhav Singh Ghai)- This is one actor who doesnt need a description. He has been a good comedian of the century and he still is one. Looked good , acted a bit loud than required but still okay. In a senseless movie like this , nothing better could have been expected from him.
Amrita Arora (Esha)- Unlike what she has looked before. Unique and cute look with specs throughout . She is fine and bearable.
Songs: Too loud for comfort. Not at all required, I mean none were needed at all. Not at all good music.
All in all, a dreadful and sleepy movie. Absolutely required to be given a miss.
