Throughout the read, I actually really enjoyed myself, so lets talk about Gone Girl.
Gone Girl is thriller novel by Gillian Flynn. It follows a man named Nick and he is currently living in Missouri with his wife Amy. You start reading this book from Nicks point of view, so everything you see is what he knows, what he understands and you can see that theres some tension between him and his wife. Their marriage doesnt seem to be that great. One day Nick goes home and figures out that his wife is missing.
I spend first half or so figuring out what Nick and Amys relationship is? Theres whole another layer of stuff going on. This book takes a very wild turn when you get to second half of this book, my mind was blown like I had to take a step back and calm down and just realize that everything I thought was wrong, basically just totally wrong. You dont know whose side youre on, and this is the best thing about this book. The ending of this book makes you want to rip your hair out.
Oh man, Id also like to stress, the fact that there are no happy endings in Gillians book. This book leaves me with an uneasy feeling which is the same feeling I was left with her other two books.
This book is not for everyone, its pretty depressing. If you are mystery fan like me I will suggest you should read this book. Its very serious, dark and suspenseful.
