Today, I will review Google camera app and also let you know about its features so, let’s start -
Google camera app is an official camera by google and if you will have a look at it by google standards then its a good simple app.
First, let’s talk about the launchtime and app icon so app icon is a simple camera icon made by google and launchtime is about upto 1.5 seconds depending on your phone.
Now, let’s get straight into the app and when you open the app you will see your phone’s camera screen with some options about which we will talk now so,
On the bottom part of the app there is a camera button to click pictures on camera mode and there is a button to record video on video mode. It’s straight and simple.
On the bottom right part of the screen, above the camera/video button there is a button with three dots which provides four settings and those are HDR, switch button to toggle between front and rear camera, Flash options and also include auto flash, there is also button for grid lines to turn it ON or OFF and at last, there is a timer for 3 seconds, 10 seconds or no timer.
Now when you will swipe from left to right, there are basically guve options and which are-
PANAROMA - To take panaromic shots
PHOTO SPHERE - To take 360 degree kind of photos
LENS BLUR - It’s sort of a less advanced potrait mode but edge detection to make photos blur is not that good
CAMERA- Camera mode to click pictures
VIDEO - Video mode to record videos.
And that’s all you have got. So, now if we compare this app by 2018 standards honestly, its too basic for the features it provides when compared to its rivals which provide beauty mode, filters, manual mode, metering modes and even Iphones got some modes like potrait lighting, studio lighying, etc,
So, conclusion is that it gets the job done but is too basic by 2018 standards so I don’t think you should install this app.
