Do you love to take Photos? But are you worried about how to keep the photos - print them, too costly; buy secondary storage devices, but what if they are lost. Today I will tell you about Google Photos - what it is and what are its uses.
Google has been making our lives better through its innovative products. Google Photos is another innovative product by Google.
Google Photos backs up your Photos on the cloud. Multiple copies are stored so that your data never gets lost or destroyed. Not just this, if you click many pictures on a particular time, then Google Photos automatically makes collages, animations, short movies and much more.
The Photos are generally automatically uploaded but you can choose to manually upload and also specify whether the Photos are backed when you are connected to the Wi-Fi or on both cellular data and Wi-Fi.
To upload the Photos from your camera(I am not talking about the smartphone camera) you have to connect your camera to a computer. They you can manually upload the Photos on their website or you can download "Backup and Sync by Google" app and then the Photos will be uploaded automatically.
You can also choose the quality in which the Photos are uploaded. Their are two options High Quality and Original Quality. In High Quality, you can backup as many Photos you want and its doesnot count on your Drive Storage. In Original Quality, the Photos count against your Drive Storage which is 15 GB by default. If you run out of Drive Storage, you can buy extra storage with your Google Play Balance. If you buy extra storage, then you will have to pay monthly or yearly.
There is no customer service. However there are Help and Feedback option.
Generally it takes very less time to load pictures. However videos take a long time to load if you are not on a fast network.
The Photos are arranged according to date with the latest first.
The app is user-friendly. Every action is very easy to perform - whether you are want to create an new album or share Photos, all are very easy to do.
