Introduction:
GT(Google Talk) is a unique yet a simple internet messenger through which you can chat with your near and dear one’s & friends only.Has nothing more to pamper you but yes leaving the features apart it’s hassle free/easy-to-use.
Let’s talk about ’Google Talk’:
With the ever growing popularity of internet messenger’s like - MSN Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, Skype etc, Google on the 11 oct 2005, launched it’s first beta version of it’s internet messenger know as ’Google Talk’.
When compared to the others, it was found that:
Google Talk is slower and occupies more space on your harddisk than others. (Only the post-beta version)
It poses a threat to malicious threats/scripts.

Many users have recieved viruses through this messenger. As each day is passing by, google is loosing time and customers/users.It needs to make a huge amounts of improvements in it’s messenger as to stand with a reputation in the market.
Features which Google Talk does not support:
(I personally never Expected this from Google!!!)

Note:
For making an gmail account you need an special invitation/request from someone.If someone dosent have a gmail account then oopsss....ooopsii you wont be able to use the messenger............In skype/yahoo/messenger etc you can easily make your account in minutes and start chatting/talking..........(Major Disadvantage)
GTalk Supports:
Normal P2P Chatting with friends having gmail accounts- normal text.
Contact list- That is, you can add your friends in a list form.(Common Feature)
Audio Conference through headphones...................
It supports only basic three feature’s.Disgusting....... MSN, Yahoo, Skype Messengers make P2P chatting a much more enjoyable experience by supporting the feature’s which Gtalk dosent. I know that Yahoo/Msn messengers have many drawbacks like- logging in issues, disturbance while audio conversation etc, but today’s generation wants fancy things with lots of features.They just dont like using simple things.
Positives:-
Easy to use/simple/tension free/clutter free messenger.
No fancy Interface/feature’s which led to the slowing down of a comp...
Crisp and clear voice clarity during conversation.
Conclusion:
Seeing all the features, compatablity, extra’s, positives/negatives, I conclude that GTalk suits those people who dont want hotch potch/mess and just wanna to do simple/clutter free messenging/talking..................I dont recommend it to the people who want all those extra features which are not included in GTalk........
My Recommendation:
Download it at your peace of mind........................Give it a shot/try.
