My sister and I have been watching a lot of thriller movies lately and have been very disappointed. We keep guessing the ending before the movie barely has time to start. This movie was different. This was more than your typical horror movie, it was a true mystery. And my sister and I had no clue.
We were suspecting here and there off the wall, but never saw it coming. I loved this movie. The acting talent was superb and the directing was phenominal. This was a movie worth seeing a second time, the day after even. I watched it again to try and find subtle hints.
I wish this movie would have done better in theaters...it deserved it. And it does not do this movie justice to just call it a horror movie. It is more, far more. Good job to the cast and crew.
By the way, does anyone know the significance of the name ’’Gothika’’? It wasn’t even mentioned in the movie.
