Gopichand, who was finally seen in the 2015 film Saukhiim, returned to the silver screen after two years of interval. Gautam Nanda was expected to give Gopichand a very necessary break at the box office. Instead, it ends the craving for a break with an inconvenient and irrational effort when the audience tells the story.
Gautam ( Gopichand) was born with a spoon of silver. A businessman played by Sachin Khedekar is the only son of Tycoon. Gautam has won more life than his father’s blessings, his father also asks him to complain why his monthly bill is less than a million, and advises him to spend more.
Director Sampath Nandi has killed an unpleasant story and unbalanced major characters. Gotham, along with beautiful girls, has been presented with a song shot in picturesque foreign locations. The first song also advises the audience to live happily without worrying about the future and have the words like O Jindagi Na Milegi Dobara. The irony is that the director had no problem in showing Gautam the dancing to the cocaine, the shoulder of the girl
Property argues that this film is about a bad community, which becomes a responsible citizen after realignment. But, the problem in the story is such a big change that extraordinary efforts are made in a character for a long time and from the character itself. It is very unpleasant when Satta tries to sell an idea that a crater can turn an overnight new leaf.
It seems that there is no connection between Gautam’s character and his actions. The only such scene where Gautam’s character is going to explain, when he is planning to break his car in a big truck, he can feel the pain. Similarly, a person who is afraid of cocaine
There is everything in Gautam but he claims that he has never experienced real emotions in his life, so that he was unable to know who he really is. So, he decides to kill himself after surviving in a car accident, he kills Nanda ( Gopichand, again) . Nand also jumped in front of Gautam’s car because his financial problems led to suicide. Do you see where the director is going with it?
As you can guess, Gautam comes with a plan of business locations with Nand so that he can get a 30-day crash course in poverty. Gautam is located in Nand’s house in the low life sphere of Hyderabad, while Nanda has been placed in the Gotham palace in Bangalore.
From there, Gotham’s self-discovery journey becomes a tiring watch. It is like the Gotham step in the house of Nand, he gets such maturity that he no longer needs money or cocaine so that he can stay happy or live a lifetime. And again, Gotham and Nanda are extremely difficult to buy each other as characters.
And this impossible story of two sides of the same coin moves towards a clear end that we have seen a mile away.
Although both characters have to forget, while Gopichand’s performance is an Oasis in the barren section in the form of Nanda. In the form of Hansika Motwani, the spellar plays the role of an ideal girlfriend and there is only a limited opportunity to make any marks in her character. Catherine Trace as Mugdha plays a party girl and she is about it.
Gautam Nanda highlighted the director-writer Sampath, who is unable to creativity and rational thinking. It also shows their conviction that unless the package is fancy, the audience will be tilted to any story that is thrown at them. Gautam Nand is one of the commercial films that insult the viewers’ intelligence.
