If you are headed out to have a good time, don’t go to Govind Garden at Pimple Saudagar, Pune. Inattentive staff, too much lead time for serving, too much color in the food, all sabjis tasting the same.
We were left forever waiting for the food. One strategy that the staff uses is to disappear for long times, so that you don’t pester them. All veg preparations had almost the same taste and were loaded with color, so all we could see was different odd-sized red lumps in the dish.
And last but not the least, we wondered why we took the pains to order three different veg preparations if they were to look and taste the same.
Govind Garden takes the cake in poor service. It seemed almost like eternity before the food arrived. And when it did, it was not hot enough! Only adding to the bad situation we already were in.
The interiors might look inviting, but the food and service are not.
So now you know where not to go! Certainly not to Govind Garden.
