I can surely say this Gowardhan cheese doesn’t deserve the 4 or so stars given by others. I think this is the worst plain cheese which I have ever used. I love cheese but this product makes me re-think if I love cheese at all. It was that much bad
I bought it once because I couldn’t find any other reputable brand cheese at that time in my local store and I had to make a quick sandwich. So I went ahead and bought this one without thinking much about how it would taste
I unpacked it and found one piece adulterated with something which I could not describe. I threw that one in the bin and used the other one. I added it in bread with other sandwich ingredients and put it in my sandwich press. After cooking for some time, when I took it out, alas, the cheese didn’t even melt a bit. I thought it was ok and went ahead to eat that one. When I had my first bite, I knew something was wrong with the cheese. It has a very musky flavor and tasted very sour.
I thought maybe something was wrong with this pack and got another pack of this same cheese from another store the next day. Sorry to say but the other one was also the same bad quality. The only thing good in this was its somewhat cheap price. But that doesn’t mean they can compromise quality
