If I could give 0 stars, I absolutely would.
I had purchased an extended warranty from GoWarranty for my TV, thinking it would give me peace of mind in case of any future issue. But what I actually got was mental harassment, false promises, and endless frustration.
My TV stopped working in mid-August, and I immediately raised a complaint with GoWarranty. Since then, it’s been over 38+ working days, and still, no pickup, no repair, no replacement, and no refund.
As per their own Service Assurance Policy, if a product cannot be repaired within 30 working days, they are supposed to either provide a free replacement or issue a gift card for the product’s current value. But clearly, this company doesn’t believe in following its own policy.
Every time I call their customer care, it’s the same story, excuses, lies, and empty promises. What’s more shocking is that almost the same person(mostly named Dh) answers the call every time. Looks like this company doesn’t even have proper staff or can’t afford to pay salaries.
They’ll say things like “we’ll arrange a con-call, ” “we’re working on it, ” or “you’ll get an update soon”, and then vanish for days. I’ve lost count of how many calls, emails, and WhatsApp messages I’ve sent, only to get nothing in return.
After weeks of harassment, I finally filed a complaint in the Consumer Forum, though to be honest, I have very little hope that GoWarranty will actually take any action.
GoWarranty is not a service provider, it’s a scam in the name of extended warranty. Once you pay them, you’re on your own. They’ll keep dragging you until you give up.
My advice to everyone -
?? NEVER buy any warranty plan from GoWarranty.
?? Don’t fall for their fake “hassle-free service” claims.
?? Save your hard-earned money and your sanity.
If you really care about your time and mental peace, stay far away from this company.
