I paid twice the MRP of the product I wanted, and justified it to myself, thinking that’s how much it would work out to, through Amazon.com or Ebay International.
Product took a month to reach me, and stopped working in 3 months, out of the blue, well within warranty period.
Here’s the official reply I received from Grabmore when I contacted them:
"Regarding your complaint, Request you to return the product in its original/safe packing with all its accessories to our office address mentioned below. Our technical team would check for the issue and if there any major issues then we shall send the product to USA and our team from USA will send your product to the respective service centers in USA and coordinate with them. Once the product is returned from Grabmore USA to Grabmore India we shall will deliver it to you. You have to pay one way shipping charge(Rs.1500) to Grabmore USA to process the warranty procedure."
That works out to another 2 months before I may or may not see a working product again, with NO guarantee that the problem will not repeat itself!
Save yourself the hassle, folks, and choose Amazon or Ebay. They hold themselves a lot more responsible for the quality of products they ship, AND offer a lot better customer service.
