I had gone to grandmamas cafe dadar maybe a month ago, first of all, its real close to the station so reaching it is as easy as it can get, 1 min walk and you are there, getting a seat is also easy as they have an indoor and outdoor section so plenty place to sit.
the reason why you would go there - food, id say it is average to slightly below if you compare it with the cost, absolutely tasty, dont get me wrong, I compared it with the money, I had frenchfries, a pizza and a pasta and the bill was 1100/-. so yeah, good place to take your girlfriend/wife out.
