(: ROFL:)

Akal Badi yaa Buffalo (Bhaais)...

I say, Darwaza (door) jisme se Bhaiss nikalti hai.

Constipated then watch this for pressure.

Blisters in the mouth, don’t watch it.

Need a kick, watch this.

Need Abdomen exercises, trouble it with pain. Laugh.

Doing nothing on Friday 10 and Sunday 1.30 pm. Watch it.

The Great Indian Laughter Challenge (GILC) is a revelation of shows and competitions that have seen in recent times. It isn’t a compilation of stand ups and mimicry artists but a better version altogether. The show successfully crumples my cheeks and tensions my forehead to a stretch laughing and thinking all different ways to avoid laughing again and again.

ShOw

It’s a reality show aiming to talent hunt among the comedians and let them present themselves and win over the judges and audience. The winner takes himself a spot of fame with his own Stand Up comedy show on Star ONE. It’s a torrid time for their funny brains to delve into the thought of the humor pond and pick out the right fish that has to be a timely catch in order to ensure that they can get us loling and then rofling. In all the show takes the elimination way and has 3 rounds per episode out of which one is a Q&A round and the other 2 are the performance rounds.

Sadly they just put there hands on Shekhar Suman as one of the judges which is a letdown for me, looking at him looks as mundane as seeing my bristle crippled tooth brush in the morning. The other judge Navjot Singh Sidhu (NSS) who is NSS i.e. Nasty & Sensibly Silly hehe :) is perfectly all right for me as a judge. They could have tried there hands on others some laugh dopers from may be Bollywood.

Plus there is this Ms. Teakwood looking announcer who seem to appear skinnier and skinnier as the day progresses, the face is as expression less like a head of scarecrow and doesn’t seem at all like a announcer of a laughter show seems like a giggly girl given microphone as soon as she gets up from the wrong side of the bed. Nope get rid of SS and that ms. pencil legs out.

StArS

The participants are the light, the sound and the action of the show, those with content, timing and delivery excel and charge me for more but then there are with mimicry, boozer songs and unnecessary shaking and movement of body limbs make me search for my remote.

Mahabharat ka pehla Adhyay suna rela hu

Draupadi ka cheer haran Kumbhakaran kar rela tha aur Draupadi ki laaj vaaste sudarshan chakra dhaari Bhagwaan Ganesh lage hue the

Ooops I said that’s wrong Mahabharata it has to be Dushashan.

Bhai says, Saale Draupadi ka cheer Kumbhakaran hare yaa Dushashan, isme tere baap ka kya jaata hai.

GILC is perfect dosage of sure laughter although sometimes you might feel dragged and hear a lot of heard it jokes but still there are participants in there who get it going. So watch them all and avoid the drunkards, the mimicry and performers of sounds who although are a gem but they make u awed rather then laugh which is the main aim of the show.
