The film opens with Guddu Rangeela and party performing the super-catchy ‘Mata Ka Email’ which sets the mood of the film from the very start. The first half is super-fun but the second half takes the film down with the end becoming too filmy and too preachy for the takers.
A better climax would have been so much better for the movie as a whole. However, the transitions from one scene to another are beautiful in terms of the various sounds used in the film.
Director Subash Kapoor picks the issue of honor killings by Khap Panchayats in Haryana after he successfully pulled off issues like NRI kidnapping and helplessness of the judicial system. But this time around, he overdoes the theme and just when you feel for the victim either the plot is drawn away or it becomes too preachy. However, one won’t say that it’s a bad attempt!
