Comedy movies in India have gone a stereotypical change over the past couple of years and this movie is no different.
The plot is the same as of Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge which was not much of a success.
It starts off as a light hearted comedy movie but it loses its pace near the interval, the movie after that point is not so funny anymore. A few desperate tries with couple of stereotypical jokes and artificially created circumstances including some gross ones were created as an attempt to make the movie entertaining but to me it seemed an unnecessary strech of a video.
Also a couple of racist jokes were thrown in which was completely unnecessary and inconsequential.
PLOT-
Being a comedy movie it does notneed much of a plot, that being said the story had none whatsoever. Its plot was similar to that of Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge also a couple of unclimatic events were created with no link to the plot.
The story is about an indian couple living in London who are visited by a distant relative from their home country, who shows no sign of leaving their household. The movie is about the awkward situations the couple faces while staying with their relative. That is all there is to the plot of the movie.
Then again it is a comedy movie so theres no need for an elaborate plot.
CAST & PERFORMANCE-
The cast of the movie included decent actors such as
Paresh Rawal
Kartik Aaryan
Paresh Rawal being an experienced actor, his performance was good as expected. But Kartik was not suited for this role although he did a great job in the movies Pyar Ka Panchhnama.
The rest of the casts performance was lagging in certain areas.
SUMMARY-
Overall this was a silly movie. I would not recommend this for watching. The movie had no scope for being successful right from the start, the script was sloppy dialouges were unnecessary at times and mainly it was not funny as they thought it would be. It lacked proper scripting.
I would not recommend this for watching, even if for passing the time cause there are still other better comedy movies out there.
Let me know what you think of this in the comments section.
