An extremely inconvenient experience.Even after pre-booking with payment, when I reached the guesthouse, the receptionist told us that no notification from guesthouser has been received and the booking is invalid. Upon calling the customer service, the executive notified that they would have to cancel our booking and refund would be initiated. We spoke to the owner of the guesthouse that we had booked through guesthouser, he told us that guesthouser is unreliable and doesnt always take consent from the owner before sending out confirmation to the customers. Even we had recieved a text message saying that the booking has been successfully done. The owner even told us that guesthouser gives poor commission to the property owners and is a fraud. The owner had asked guesthouser to take their listing down but guesthouser had still put it up and accepted bookings even without the owners consent. I am not sure what terms and conditions were decided between the two parties, but we sufferee major inconvenience.We were really looking forward to staying in the property wr had booked through guesthouser but we had to settle for a very mediocre hotel that was easily available to us. The entire experience was pathetic. I, for sure, am never going to use guesthouser again. Id discourage my friends, family and anybody who i know from using guesthouser.
