Studied engineering there for four years. Nothing as such like a university. Making it a centralized process doesn’t make into a university. Just for making it a university like other states in India have. No major up gradation in the syllabus and same old theoretical concepts and huge courses through which the students have to suffer. Less practical knowledge and more of theoretical knowledge based education.
Teachers are not well prepared with the subjects and the overall examination system is poor and needs to upgrade. Unexpected results. Would not like anyone to join GTU instead join some deemed university or universities outside Gujarat.
