Masterpiece

To begin with, it was the first novel I had ever read. It not only changed my opinion about novels but also about english literature itself!

Beginning from the first page, first word to the last page, last word it is a mesmerising piece of art.

It is a fairy tale, no doubt. The world gulliver lands into is amazing. The small people. Their reaction to gulliver is really believeable and innocent. That’s why this novel works.

It not just entertains but also deals with a social message. It critices wars. There is an incident where two cities fight just over a small thing, from which side should one open an egg! Yes you heard it right.

According to Mark Tain, wars were based on silly foundations.

I wish there were more novels like this one

I am sure it would have made an amazing serialised novel of his Jonathan’s time

It’s a true Classic!

And Undoubtly my favoutire book!
