I felt I should write a word of caution to all the pregnant ladies during the most sensitive part of their life.
Firstly, most hospitals in Bangalore are just money making monsters and they will try to squeeze people of as much money as possible. Most doctors are just money minded, good doctors have become the exceptions rather than the rule.
A normal delivery is always preferrable to a Ceasarian delivery anyday. How did all the deliveries take place throughout the centuries.
The recovery after a ceasarian operation is really long, and it takes a heavy toll and traumatic for the women who have undergone them.
The spinal injection/anaesthesia which they inject before the ceasearian causes most ladies to have a permanent backache.
Also the body becomes permanently weak and the "victim" of a ceasarian operation will never be able to do any hard physical work.

In short Cesarean is a major surgery, meant to be performed only as a last resort. Sadly greed has overtaken humanity, atleast in India and Cesareans are notoriously on the rise.

Sadly Gunasheels Surgical and maternity hospital is also under this greedy category which I have observed from my own experience.
I observed that for most of the pregnancies there do cesarean only, unless the lucky pregnant lady has come to their door mid way of delivery and they have no option but to do normal delivery.
They are just interested in making a fast buck of 15 to 20 thousand extra through the cesarean.
They won’t intimate the patient about the impending cesarean, all of a sudden they will say "emergency operation" has to be done and will whisk away the "victim" and do the procedure.
Why don’t they deliver normally and just ask for the extra 20 thousand bucks for free rather than playing around with people’s lives.

So if you are pregnant, please consider going to your native and delivering there after identifying a good gynaec/hospital. Its far easier to detect a good doctor in small towns through word of mouth alone.

Remember one important advise, that when you are pregnant, drink lot of fluids(water, tender-coconut, fresh fruit juices) from the very beginning and maintain the amniotic fluid level in your stomach.
Not drinking enough fluid will cause the amniotic fluid level in your stomach to reduce and will lead to complications. Some doctors will
exploit this and may advise you againt drinking juice, tender coconut etc, they just want your fluid level to come down to have a pretext to carry out a cesarean. Beware and take care.
Its just surviving on the old reputation and thats why people flock there . But some greedy hand is now in control of the state of affairs there.

A place like Bangalore is full of corrupt doctors and hospitals and you are lucky if you find a good gynaec in Bangalore who is not money minded. we could not find one when it mattered most.
