“Perseverance pays…"
We are grateful to Gunasheela hospital for the help, support and guide to get promoted to ‘parents’. Special thanks to Dr.Mala, Dr.Rajashekhar Naik, Dr.Deepa, Dr.Jyothi Menon and Dr.Devika. Why? Primarily because this institute treated for 2 years to see my wife conceives naturally.
Magic of counseling: Couple who struggle will know(better) the phase one will go through. Social life will be cut off, confidence level will be low and mind is disturbed which often thinks about ‘what if we lose this time / this option’.
During this time, we happened to meet Dr.Mala who counseled us together and separately in multiple sessions. She spends good amount of time with each case, listens patiently and suggests carefully. She doesnt believe inone size fits all. We could observe every time she will boost our energy by sharing inspirational stories, others experience, Dos and Don’ts. She would also explain the importance of ‘being together” during the testing time and the ways to tackle it.
Her famous saying – ‘maNi – manthra – maddu’ worked! ?
Dr.Nayak who treats male counterparts is again calm and patient. We’re benefitted by him also.
Integrated medication: In Gunasheela, we could see a(rare?) combination of English and Ayurveda working together for the benefit of patients. On one side, regular doctors would address the problem by speaking to patients and suggesting different tests, scans, medication based on senior doctor recommendation. Besides, Dr.Mala educates patients about the food diet, exercise, prANAyAma including mudras. These put together help to heal body, mind and soul.
Living up to principles: We felt it was a ‘fair play’. When we met Dr.Jyothi Menon followed by Dr.Devika, both of them explained the pros-cons of ‘assisted pregnancy’. I remember Dr.Menon telling my wife “why do you worry, every month you stand a chance of getting pregnant…” and Dr.Devika “let’s explore other options before finalizing this…”. Even during delivery, Dr.Devika personally examined multiple times and ensured duty doctors do their part.
We got our ‘life changer’ from this institution. Overall, we feel it is reasonably good and treatment is fairly priced.
Finally, when a husband aged 40+ and wife aged~35 could become parents of a naturally conceived healthy baby, it is very much possible for young couple. Isn’t?
It is a matter of prArthane and prayathna - god’s grace, right guidance and whole hearted attempt.
