This is movie about Gunjan Saxena - the lady pilot of Kargil. First of all trailer shows that the opposite gender pilots and officers are mocking her ( That bathroom not found scene where Gunjan doesn’t find ladies toilet) . And officers, The Indian Air Force officers are saying that ladies never become pilots so there’s no ladies toilet/bathroom. What nonsense is this ? Indian Army, Navy and Air Force never discriminate on gender. And movie clearly showing this discrimination which is absolutely wrong.
The Casting : Jahnvi Kapoor, the expressionless actress, doesn’t fit here as Gunjan Saxena. She doesn’t have expressions at all. Better to cast Tappasee Pannu or any better deserving actress.
When Gunjan was on flight, one man from controller room yelled at her and says : "Gunjan come back, tumse nahi Hoga". In indian air force, there’s a code name for every pilot. They never say their name specially while on flight because of privacy. The film makers had to do some homework before making movie. And yes, the producer is nepotism lover Karan Johar. So this is obviously expected.
