A long Journey ahead!!!

Gunslinger By Stephen King. This is a spoiler-free review. This is the story of Roland the last Gunslinger, he is on a quest to catch the man in black and learn about The Dark Tower so we appear to be in some sort of post-apocalyptic future or some sort of parallel universe that is somewhat contemporary to our own or at least the American West.

Roland encounters a man named Brown in the desert and him in a flashback told us what happened in his town and that incident in Tull really gives us an idea of what the man in black actually is capable of. Other than Roland and man in black other characters that we encounter are all sort of gritty and unappealing.

I probably wouldn’t keep reading the series. This book is very confusing, most of the time you don’t know what is going on. The series does get significantly better starting at The Drawing of The Three. Roland is the hero with many fault and self-problems which you will find out throughout the series. I hope if you start this book and give it some time, this series better after the second book.
