Positive :-
Hats off to Sanjay Leela Bhansali once again. He has really proved himself. He has picked up a very unusual plot as usual of an handicapped person and his suffering but has portrayed it beautifully. Script, casting, music, set , location, costumes everything was very carefully selected and exhibited.
Hrithik Roshan was superb. He actually dived into the character and related with the audience wonderfully.
Aishwarya Rai’s acting was simply superb...I think it is only Sanjay Leela Bhansali who can take out the very best in her.
Each and every supporting character played their role magnificently and skillfully no matter how small the part may be.
The music was very melodious and not out of place as is usually seen in HIndi movies. The dialogues were well scripted with an excellent blend of comic punch wherever required.
This movie is definitely not for those who take cinema as only entertainment, time pass and not much use of brainpower.
This kind of movie can be compared with movies which has some class in them.
Dealing with such a controversial topic like mercy killing with such skill and smartness is not an easy task, but Sanjay Leela Bhansali has done it.
Negatives :-
The story line is nothing great but it is entirely Director’s talent .
Hrithik was shown as a famous magician but where was his team when the accident took place? It was a little absurd. That part of the film could have been made better. It is not so easy to make that kind of accident happen in real life.
The entire movie was shot in a dark environment to highlight the protagonist’s mental condition but at times it was a bit too much to accept.
The pace of the movie is slow but definitely made interesting with a good blend of interesting dialogues.
Overall a very well made movie...not as good as Black but definitely a fantastic movie to watch.
I personally felt that the ending was a bit too negative and cud have given a boost so that people leading a life like this can also see the positive side of it.
Do not take your kids to watch this movie as they will not enjoy much.
