My latest visit to a well known beauty parlor. I called up to check the rates and procedure followed for the hair styling and was informed that the "One" who is the star charge higher than the other "Specialists". So I opted for the specialist with charges within my budget, after the styling I was shocked to see the bill for the following reasons -
1) it was double the amount I was informed on the phone.
2) the service was broken up into 4 steps and charged for each, while this is not the norms with any other parlor of the same standard.
3) there was no information provided to me on the procedure and the costing of the service. And I went ahead with the discussion on the phone about the cost.
I am planning to take this up under RTI to know on what basis they have been charging so high and may be I will file a case of cheating in consumer court. I need inputs from active people here.
