Haldiram is a famous name in the food industry. We had been eating its various types of namkeen from a long time. And I really loved the taste.
When haldiram restaurant was opened in civil lines I was really happy coz now I could have one more place for a tasty dining. But my expectations didn’t turn out to be real. The very first thing which I dislike is the self service system. Once you place the order and make the payment for the same you are given a token number. Then you’ll have to keep your eye on the board where order numbers are displayed. Theñ when your order number is displayed on the screen you have to go to the counter to get your order. It is disappointing when you are paying so much you are deserved to get the food on your table once you place the order.
Secondly, I had ordered kaju korma and dosa but they were not so tasty as compared to the other restaurants where I had eaten these. Though the chutney which they served with the dosa was really nice. Haldiram is a great name so it is expected of them to serve very tasty food. The sweet section was ok. The pastry which I had eaten was nice.
They have a nice space to dine. The sapphire of the restaurant is really nice. So if you are ready to compromise on taste a little bit then it is a great place to dine.
But in my opinion we all eat outside to get great taste.
