The book is about a average love story. The love is full of understanding, sacrifice and at last the very common happy ending. But now I feel that Chetan Bhagat instead of writing a good novel is now turning over to Bollywood movie scripts. The story of novels should be be very original. I guess the author is now expecting to turn all his new release novels into hit movies. He is now slowly disappearing from best sellers. Anyway if I talk about the story is very basic and standard. Where the girl keeps suspense about her cancer(which is fake) and act to sacrifice love for the man. The man come to know that she is alive and they get back together. Typical standard love story. I would give average a very average review on this, Typical love story u can say that.!
