Usually the people who have read the book first will understand why am disliking the movie.
Its nothing sort of what is in the book and what I had imagined it to be.
Obviously the visuals and the places shown is according to the book but I guess the casting was not good enough.
Arjun Kapoor didnt seem to be the ideal Bihari boy who doesnt knows English, I think the role didnt do well for him.
Ria’s character is justified, high class girl, societal standard and her simplicity did well for her.
The book’s depth of characters or places or just the emotions is not shown in the movie.
I guess only the songs were good.
I personally think that the movie would have been a hit if the casting was a bit different.
