Half Girlfriend is an official adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s novel by the same name.
the movie is about a Bihar based boy(Madhav Jha) and a Rich girl(Riya Somani) the full movie revolves around them
Madhav Jha is good looking boy but it becomes difficult situation when he tries to speak in English but Riya Somani is from a rich family and very good in English.
while Riya was playing Basket Ball Madhav decided to get into relationship with her. but could not say because he thinks that he is not a right person for her.
later on. finally both of them fall in love but Riya spends a lot of time with Madhav and finally Madhav asks Riya that who is he for her and then Riya says to Madhav that she cannot be her girl friend because her parents have fixed her marriage to another boy but she can be her half girlfriend.
in the first half the movie is very nice but in the second half the movie runs slow
Riya gets divorced but didn’t tell to Madhav and she decided to get very far from Madhav
in the second half Madhav tries to find Riya because he can not forget Riya and he finds her in new york in a barn in the last
the movie runs slow in the second half but it is a quite good story and the performance of the star cast is very good especially Arjun Kapoor(Madhav Jha) as Bihar Based boy Shradha is also quite good
the music is also best "Mai Fir Bhi Tumko Chahuga" and Barish
One must go and see the movie and feel the love during the whole film
