I Visited Hampi with my family.this is one of the greatest historical place in India.


Hampi, also referred to as the Group of Monuments at Hampi, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in east-central Karnataka, India.


Hampi predates the Vijayanagara Empire; there is evidence of Ashokan epigraphy, and it is mentioned in the Ramayana and the Puranas of Hinduism as Pampaa Devi Tirtha Kshetra.


Hampi Was The Capital Of The Vijay nagar Empire Around 1500 AD And By Some Accounts The Second Largest City In The World At That Time. Some Famous Place In Hampi Is Virupaksha Temple, Vithala Temple, Elephant Stables, Hampi Bazaar, Lotus Palace, Zenana Enclosure, Monolith Bull, Laxmi Narasimha Temple, Big Shivlinga, Hanuman Temple, Old Palace, Queen’s Both, Rock Climbing, Matanga Hill, Hemakuta Hill Temple, Archaeological Museum, Mahanavmi Dibba, Hazara Rama Temple, Achyutraya Temple, Daroji Bear Sanctuary, City Shopping.
