Easier said then done

Now a days I see people are depressed very soon. Usually we fail to see our own fault. If Things don?t happen the way we want them to then we get disappointed and start feeling depressed. It happens to all of us including me.


I believe that nobody can depress us, we depress ourselves and only our own efforts can help us come out from this whirlpool of disturbing thoughts.


Yes!, depression is like a whirlpool, if you leave yourself on its mercy then it will pull you more towards itself but if you decide to fight against it you stand a chance to drag yourself out of it. I am sure if we carry a positive attitude to take us out of this situation things are already half solved.


Here are some helpful tips which works for me hope they do for you too.


*1.Listening music *


Every body knows music is something we find useful in almost all kind of situations. That?s why we have different kind of music for diff times. But music has many different meaning, like that if you are enjoying in a marriage or in a party then you would like to listen dance based songs or some loud music. But if you have a sad mood then you would like to listen sad songs or slow music, and in air of love you like all type of romantic songs but it doesn?t mean that if you are depressed then you should listen depressing song. In depression you should listen some inspiring songs, famous romantic songs or some fast, rhythmic music. This type of music relax your mind and inspire you to come out of depression. Big No to sad songs.


*2.Pass your free time with friends *


When we feel depressed we lose our interest in our work also. In my opinion instead of staying lonely one should pass time with friends and try to forget their depression. They can pass their time in gossip and can party also . Talking does help but if you keep talking constantly of this thing it won?t go out of mind. So keep yourself busy with friends, with work if possible or anything for that matter.


*3. Watch some comedy or action movies*


If you don?t have friends around you then you can pass your time watching movies. But no sad movies. Watch some comedy or action movies because in comedy movies you can laugh a lot and relax your mind. A good laugh is great anytime and in such times it?s a blessing. In every action movies they present a hero and a perfect man so you may feel a heroic image in your self and it may boost your confidence a bit.


*Talk to the person you like*


In this case you can talk to a person whom you like and whom you love. Someone you think you can rely on. Don?t hide and don?t let it explode within you. Let go of it and tell everything to that loved one. It sounds odd but a friend of opposite sex would be a better choice in this case. Talk to somebody and have a feeling like its that person.


*Do something you enjoy*


Finally do something you like doing, something you truly enjoy. If anybody like playing then they should play, because exercise is also a best way to keep away your depression . If you enjoy reading books then read as much as you can. If you enjoy traveling then pack your bags and seek refuge in nature?s lap. Keep yourself busy with some work.


*I know it is easier said then done** but still nobody can help us if we are not open to help. A person can present a helping hand to you but its you who has to hold it.
