Only had a couple in my life

Now here was one I just had to write about. Being an ex-drinker I can say that I only had a couple of hangovers in my life. One was from the very first time I really drank and by drinking a shot of vodka in the morning, poof it was gone.

The only other one I remember having was because I drank all night on an empty stomach.

Definately eat before you drink. Granted some times when you go out to eat you order a cocktail first, take only a few sips in this case until your meal arrives and you have consumed some of the food.

The only thing I ever did to prevent a hangover and believe me at time I drank quite a bit, was to down a 16 ounce bottle of coke before going to bed and take an aspirin and I woke up feeling just fine and no hangovers.

I could mix drinks it didn’t matter what I drank and this would always work. I do not think it is what you drink that causes the hangover but how much of it you consume that is the culprit.

Take it from an ex-drinker though and avoid getting drunk to begin with and you won’t have to worry about it and please do not drink and drive. You could hurt yourself or some one else or worse.

If you are at a party and drove yourself there and maybe went one over your limit drink a couple of cokes and eat something salty and wait awhile before attempting to drive. If you still feel too drunk call a taxi.

I am not putting down drinking but if you find yourself drinking several times a week there is a problem.Stay sober and you have the best cure for a hangover.:)
