Flesh Feast

Ridley Scott’s attempt to crate a great movie falls well below par compared to his earlier masterpieces like Gladiator, and Alien. The characters in this film seem to lack psychological depth which is most important for these type of movies. This film ahows the menace of cannibalism.

The first few minutes of the picture are wasted in establishing Clarice Starling(Julianne Moore) personality in which she gets suspended of duty for bungling of a drug related arrest.A very rich man Mason(Gary Oldman) reminds her that Hannibal is still loose and his arrest will do her good for her reinstatement. But the thorn in the flesh are fellow cop Ronaldo and a racist politician which prove to be ineffective later.

Of the acting department only Anthony Hopkins impresses as other characters do a lifeless role. The director also fails to impress
