I am bhushan and I would like to share some info about Hanoi for those who are planning to travel hanoi.
Hanoi is a political capital of Vietnam, if possible to take direct flight from your closet international airport if not you can always fly with air asia:P.
Make sure to get atleast 50 USD with you in cash as you will need it during your visa stamp, as vietnam is one those good countries which gives you visa on arrival, also carry couple of passport size pics.
If possible do arrange airport transfer in advance that saves a lot of time and energy.
If you are young and traveling alone or with a group you can always go for hostels, its user economic and you will love but do check reviews on websites and then only book.
Preferably make this trip with your friends and its does offer.
Hanoi has lot to offer so do experience atleast once .
