Since the release of the first Hanuman movie, every kid I have asked has said that Hanuman is his favorite god that is the power of a well made animation movie. There is no doubt that the stories of Hanuman have a strong potential to be very entertaining and very educational and this has been very effectively used in both the first movie as well as Hanuman returns
The return of Hanuman is of course a completely modern take on understanding Hanuman’s role in the current times. So we have Hanuman born as a human kid with a difference; He still has a little tail as God Brahma says he cannot do anything about the tail as it is "not detachable" and he also has a huge apetite and he grows up quickly to be able to destroy bad guys and the monster of pollution created by humans.
The story line is such that we can all relate it to current times and this makes it hugely enjoyable for kids and adults alike. The modernisation of the devas and the asuras or the danavas is on the lines of Disney serials like Hercules and very well adapted. The animation characters are pretty well designed and sync very well with the storyline, Hanuman is of the most endearing of them all. The message of the movie is very well intentioned but gets a little lost in the end but you still enjoy the movie tremendously as it is educational with a lot of entertainment value. A great achievemnet by the creative team of the movie
