I am a Clinique freak (friends reckon l could start my own store!) and so l gave Happy a whirl approx. 3 years ago. I was on holiday and you know how it is you gotta buy some duty free perfume. I generally try something new when l buy duty free so l began my relationship with Clinique Happy.
So what about the perfume....
It comes in 50ml & 100ml size bottles starting from approximately £25. It can be bought from your local Boots or the like.
It is packaged like all Clinique products - very simply and yet very effectively - in a plain Orange box with white/silver writing on it. The actual bottle too is plain with orange writing, the bottle is see through.
So what about the smell?
It is a light fragrance, fruity and fresh, not overpowering like some perfumes can be. My only criticism may be that after a few hours the smell does really wear off and so needs refreshing.
Other products in the range - well as with all perfumes Happy comes along with brothers and sisters in the happy family - namely Body Smoother - this is an excellent product and the smell lasts a lot longer than fragrance alone. Highly recommended for those special nights out (or in!) used in conjunction with the perfume.
Body Spray - a new product and is simply a happy ’flavoured’ body spray - like impulse or whatever. I did buy this product whilst on holiday last year but unfortunately left it behind me on my flight and so never got to lest its full potential!!
Clinique introduced a male range last Christmas and if you want your man to smell sexy - this does it for me!! The aftershave is similar to the perfume with simply a more masculine edge. An aftershave balm is also available. I bought the two products for my better/worse half and it cost me £50 in total.
So if you are looking for a change of smell you really could do a lot worse than check out Clinique Happy - its loverly!
