I had booked a MUM LON Return flight from happyeasygo and due to the pandemic I had to cancel my tickets on 21 MAR 2020. My refund hasn’t been processed yet and doubt if i’ll ever get my refund. Some pf the key highlights that I would like to mention about HappyEasyGo : -
They are not like makemytrip who takes sole responsiblity of your booking. these are 3rd party vendor just like any other travel agent with a shop. They dont have direct allegiance with the airlines.
In case you happen to cancel ticket you would be asked explicity to put a cancellation request with the airlines. Sounds Stupid when one is coming to a online portal to get the booking done for them. Anyways, I had to call air india to cancel my tickets and then educate HappyEasyGo about the same.
They Would initially ask you to wait for 90 days in case of cancellation as they themselves don’t know what is going on between the refund of both parties. As per the rules you would be bound to this waiting period.
If the refund doesn’t get processed within 90 days they will keep playing the game of please provide us 3-5 days to resolve ypur issue which will in infinite loop.
FROM MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE I STRONGLY RECOMMEND NOT TO GO FOR HAPPYEASYGO.
