Haraamkhor

Hi, I watched the movie named Haraamkhor. This movie passes a social message on taking care about women’s rights and that sex with a minor is a criminal offence. The film has taken a moral stand and this is the only good thing in the movie. Haraamkhor is about the relationship between an educator Shyam(Nawazuddin Siddiqui) and his 15 year old student named Sandhya(Shweta Tripathi). Sandhya grows up with a lone parent who is her father and is alcoholic. Haraamkhor feels boring even though it is only 93 minutes long. It is incredible that Haraamkhor is a movie where nothing of considerable measure happens and I felt like I would be able to see some interesting events in the movie, but did not. What we get are the insights into the kind of individual that Shyam is. He plays with his related educators. He attempts to welcome himself into their homes for dinner.

Siddiqui’s has acted well and there is a show of emotions in his acting. Shweta Tripathi’s performance is a masterstroke. Nevertheless, we watched it for Siddiqui’s role. We watched it with the expectation of what he can do and what he cannot do. The sound track is not good. All the songs are boring and there is no great music. The cinematography is of average quality. I expected a lot from this film but it was a waste of money.
