I visited Harima with a couple of friends over the weekend. It was my first time at Harima and I was instantly in love with the place as soon as the door opened. It was so beautifully decorated I instantly decided to bring my girlfriend here for our next date. She would definitely love it.
The reason I never visited Harima before is, I have never really eaten Japanese food. I am totally turned of by the mention of raw vegetables and uncooked fish. My friends challenged me hence I no option but to comply.
Coming back to the restaurant. The décor was exceptionally beautiful and I felt slightly optimistic about the food. I didn’t know what to order hence my friends took the liberty of ordering for me. They called for some sushi and sashmi. I had heard a lot about sushi and was a little bit excited to try it but my instincts told me to stay away from the under cooked fish. When the sushi arrived it looked so good I promptly popped one in my mouth. It wasn’t bad, actually it was really good! The sashmi was really yummy too.
Next came egg wrapped chicken fried rice, Crab in tempura style and Yatikori. I didn’t quite like the rice but the crab was really good.
The staff was very warm and asked us if they could indulge us with some desserts, I humbly refused but they still bought some toffee to our table.
Overall, a wonderful experience. Looking forward to bringing my girlfriend here and sweeping her off her feet, all over again.
