Customer support is not that great

I have seen various advertisement of Havells about its LED bulbs. And I have heard from many people that Havells is a good company as well as trustworthy.


One day I went at an electronic shop to buy a ceiling fan. I already thought that I have to buy a Bajaj ceiling fan. But the shopkeeper says much more positive about Havells which change my mind and I buy this model of ceiling fan of Havells company.


We setup this fan in our ceiling. The fan runs very fast and flaws a lot of air. I think that this is surely the best fan I ever purchased.


After a month, the fan started to making a noise like whistle. I think that it was a temporary issue and will be fixed automatically. Three days passed and this fan is making a lot of nose day by day.


I called at their consumer complaint number. They assured me that our engineer will visit tomorrow at morning. And he will solve the issue. If our engineer fails to do so we will exchange it with a new fan.


Next day I am waiting for the engineer to arrive at my home but he can't come. Then I think that he may came next day. Again next day he can't.


I called the shopkeeper and talk him eagerly that two days have passed and your engineer has not arrived at my home ye. Why?


The shopkeeper the told me that the engineer will visit today at evening. I wait. In the evening. He comes and see than says me that there is lack of oil in that region thats why the fan is making a lot of noise. He says these words to me and went away from there without doing anything.


I tried to oil but it not works for the fan and still making a lot of noise. I again complained but they refused to send engineer again which disappoints me a lot.
