Whenever I am out in the sun I try my best to wear a sun block of some kind. And I try to buy one that has at least 15 SPF in it if not more. The more the better, especially if I am going to use it on any of my children! Now I use the Hawaiian Tropics® Baby Faces with my son still as well as the Hawaiian Tropics® 30 plus SPF protection. My husband and my daughter will also use this product.
However, we will also use the Hawaiian Tropics® oil with 4 or 6 SPF in it for dark tanning, which doesn’t really work on because I am just so fair skinned, but it will help me tan just a little bit. But if we are looking at being out in the sun all day whether it is working in the yard, fishing or going to our friends home to swim in their pool for the day, we look for a much better protector from the sun. At least a 15 SPF! You want more protection from the sun, use the higher SPF.
The Product
Once again Hawaiian Tropic® mixes exotic, natural flora, fruit and nut extracts for a combination of a highly effective sunscreen. Plus their time released vitamin A, C and E complex, antioxidants that help reduce cell damaging free radicals.
It also helps to protect from the sun’s harsh and hot UVA and UVB and damaging IR rays. Waterproof for up to 8 hours of protection. Hypoallergenic and PABA free.
Also has no Comedogenic and is Dermatologist tested. Comes with a moisturizing sun protection factor of 15 SPF. I will also switch between the oil and the lotion through out the day. This seems to help me tan better. And I can tell you this as well, the oil will help to keep the bugs away!
Hawaiian Tropic® is also recommended by the Cancer Foundation as a safe and effective UV sunscreen. It will help to aid the sun-induced damage to the skin, including sunburn and premature aging.
Directions
Now the container suggests that you apply generously and evenly prior to sun exposure. And of course repeat after using a towel. I suppose that is how it is done. But, me, well I put some in my hands and rub it all over. I get hubby to do the back and I do his!!!
And be sure that the product is used externally only. And keep out of reach of children. Flush eyes out with water if contact occurs. And certainly call a doctor if irritation occurs. And don’t use this 15 SPF on children under 6 months of age without consulting their doctor first.

The Container
The bottle is a white container with a purple cap that pops open. It is a 10 fl oz (296 ml) plastic bottle and is recyclable. Please check your local area for recycling information. The writing on the bottle is done in dark purples and bronze colors. The cost is around 6.00 a bottle, but check around for the best price.
And as always, remember that grocery store and drug store prices will be slightly higher than discount store prices.

And also, with the end of the summer season just around the corner and back to school approaching rapidly, you can find just about all suntan lotions and oils by most manufacturers on clearance. So stock up for next year on your favorites or buy some Hawaiian Tropic® instead!

How I Feel
Another fine product by Hawaiian Tropic® that’s for sure. The lotion is not greasy and thus far has not clumped up. It actually pours easily from the container. It makes my skin feel soft and smells really nice. That coconut smell!
My husband enjoys using this as well as our daughter. And when we are going to be out all day fishing, I have it with me. I also keep spare bottles in the Blazer and on the boat. I don’t mind sharing either. There is always someone with us that needs it!
Hawaiian Tropic® makes good products and it’s a name that I trust and have trusted for many years. As far back as when my girls were little ones, and that was a long time ago. I am old now you know!!! And if comes in hand at our church functions as well!
