Passions

It is one of the movies that hits you with an intensity , and so, even when you watch it over and over, the high intensity gradually subsides, but does not diminish. It is a socially relevant movie, not as much on the ideology side, but the intention. While it portrays the two main characters, extremely passionate about their social goal in life, it is also about the intensity of human emotions and the criss-cross of events in life. The love-triangle adds spice-value to the movie, and characters portray their characters with finesse. The dialogues are very contemporary and story is peppy even without the usual song and dance sequence. The part played by Shiny Ahuja as a hard-core flirt and lover who is romantic without being demanding in love, is particularly enthralling. The female protaganist makes a mark in her passionate role. The story has twists and turns which keep you glued to your seats till the climax, and leaves a good taste in your mouth.
