I found out that overall rating for HCL Beanstalk is 65% which is quite high. But lets have the look at my experience. I purchased HCL PIV Beanstalk PC in January 2003 from Obsessio Solutions at Meerut Road Ghaziabad for Rs 45, 000/- apprx.
Within six months windows crashed two times for which Obsessio people charged Rs 350/- per visit. Within the warranty period, amplifier of speakers, UPS and printer stopped working. Obsessio service people came again and behind me they stole one black catridge from my printer. I asked the owner Sudhanshu and he misbehave with me and refused to send anybody to attend any further complaints in warranty period. Computer was too slow with minimum data stored in it .(PIV, 1.6GHZ, 128 DDR SD RAM, 17 inches flat Monitor, mm keyboard, optical mouse, woofer.speakers)
I look after all the PCs at my workplace and not a novice, therefore there was no question of mishandling. I tried HCL customer care centre no. several time waited for more than 10 minutes and then hang up, with no response.
IF YOU FIND A GOOD DEALER WELL AND GOOD OTHERWISE THESE BIG COMPANIES DON’T CARE WHETHER YOU GET A GOOD PRODUCT OR BAD. I LOST MY Rs 45, 000/- INVESTING IN BAD MACHINE. GO FOR ASSEMBLED ONES, ATLEAST YOU WILL BE ABLE TO CATCH HOLD OF LOCAL OWNERS.
BECAUSE YOU WILL FIND OUT THEY ARE ALSO ASSEMBLING PCs, actually.
