L purchased this laptop in May 2014 from a local dealer. It had 64 GB space which was fine for me. The colours and the backlight lit up the screen beautifully. Compact but a tad bit heavier than presently available lighter versions of laptop. Sleek outer black surface made it more appealing. It worked efficiently for 6 months, and I was happy with its performance. But after a while, it started overheating even for small duation usage. used to use for 1 hour, and the base used to heat up bad. Nice As if this was not enough, could hear the noisy fan which was kind of distracting and disappointing! After 1 year of usage, l accidently dropped the laptop down. This caused the hinges on one side to detach. immediately went to a local service center where they mentioned that the HCL laptop parts are not so easily available and they would replace with another company’s product. Reluctantly, l agreed and saved the laptop. boughy HCL laptops on 2013 and it was my first laptop but despite of being my first laptop l couldn’t love it as it was just such an headache.I am not saying the laptop was bad it was really good with 2gb ram 500gb space and intel pentium processor. But then the hardware started giving problems. The keyboard is the most abuse peace of machinery in a laptop it is used million of times but only in 5 months my esc jey broke and you know how much important it is to exit some programms.I had to them repair it and open in up as it was in warrenty. But then again a new problem arised it started hanging badly a lot of fan noises and a lot of heating then I took it to get the problem checked l took it to hcl care they said fan is broken need repair and will cost.I was using my laptop more and repairing it more Finally it just eventually stopped working as its fan again broke and overheating fused the circuits Such as good laptop.
